Hello 👋 My name is Sami. I have been doing hair since 2013. I love what I do & when you leave happy I leave happy. Growing up I always said I wanted to do hair, but most people just assumed it was because I grew up watching my mom do it. Well, that's exactly right. I watched my mom a lot growing up do something she loved and that passion & love grew inside me. When I started doing hair I didn't know what my future would hold, but here I am. I spent 6 years at the same location growing as a stylist/manager/trainer and building a supportive clientele. My time there was wonderful, but I am ready for so much more. Here I’m on a new journey as my own boss AND being blessed with the opportunity to work under the same roof as my mom. My mom (Michelle) is the owner of Roots On Second and has really turned it into a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I started Salon One One Five in January of 2020 and it has truly been an amazing journey so far. Having my own salon allows me to create my own schedule which varies each week to allow me more time at home with my husband and three boys.
